Granted that McGregor’s coach would not have the MMA credentials of a Chad Mendes or a Frankie Edgar but you cannot deny the slick and effortless movement that the Irishman possesses.
After all this is MMA not a wrestling match and I believe that McGregor is savvy enough to be able avoid takedowns and make a contest against a wrestler very intriguing. However, whether he can do enough to win against Mendes or Edgar is another story.
