Luke Rockhold spoke with MMAFighting’s Ariel Helwani on Thursday ahead of his fight with Tim Boetsch and said that he wouldn’t mind fighting Michael Bisping next so he can “shut his mouth”, even though “The Count” is coming off a loss.
Rockhold, who ranked number 9 in the UFC middleweight division, had some harsh words for the TUF 3 winner.
“Like I said on Twitter, I’m never opposed to easy money,” Rockhold said, speaking about a potential fight with Bisping. “I’ll take a paycheck to shut Bisping’s mouth for good.”
When asked if he would prefer the Bisping fight over a potential number one contender bout with Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, Rockhold said he “wouldn’t mind taking a step back to shut his mouth”.
