KSW 54 results and round-up

KSW 54 took place last night in what was the Polish promotions second outing at an undisclosed Warsaw studio location. In the main event, double champ Mateusz Gamrot remained undefeated after he defended his lightweight crown with a hard fought five-round win over Marian Ziolkowski.

In the co-main event, former international boxing champ Izu Ugonoh made a successful start to his MMA career with a first round TKO win over Frenchman Quentin Domingos. Ugonoh, who is also a former K1 world champ, looked comfortable in the cage and landed several strikes including a heavy leg kick. The fight ended abruptly though after Domingos injured his leg midway through the first round.

Elsewhere on the card veteran Michal Kita exacted revenge against Michal Andrszyak in their rematch. Miciej Kazieczko scored another finish after stopping Karlo Caput late in the third-round of their lightweight encounter. There were also wins for the Rajewski brothers with Lukasz getting a split decision win over Bartlomiej Kopera and Sebastian picking up a unanimous decision win over Armen Stepanyan.
