For the second time this week we take a look at the Euro Gang that are worth keeping an eye out for this month we have many to look forward to this coming weekend. Danny Roberts, Darren Stewart and Aaron Chalmers will all be taking to the cage (we’ve covered Chalmers in another article) but this Saturday I feel Galore Bofando is worthy of your attention and will make you exclaim…WHOA.
After his bizarre dismissal of Conor McGregor’s right hand man, Charlie Ward, Bofando returns to action bringing with him an array of spinning kicks, acrobatics and explosive power.
Bofando is a welterweight in a lightweight body but his striking power is explosive and his movement and adaptability makes him a threat to Laprise. Bofando has shown he has an unorthodox approach to combat and that he is willing to capitalise on any mistake or crack in his opponent’s armour, as demonstrated when he KO’d Ward who he met at UFC Fight Night 113.

Chad Laprise is a solid step up in competition for Bofando as anyone will tell you. It’s no secret that Ward was gifted a place on the UFC’s roster by virtue of his affiliation with Conor McGregor. Laprise, currently riding a two fight win streak, will find Bofando a tricky opponent, one which presents challenges that could well derail his winning ways.
You can catch this intriguing bout on 16 December on BT Sport or Fox depending on which side of the pond you reside. This and the rest of the action takes place at MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
