Daley vs Koreshkov set for Bellator London

UK MMA legend Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley will take on former Bellator welterweight champion, Andrey Koreshkov, on May 13 in Bellator’s return to London, England.

Sources close to the fight exclusively revealed the match up to me and it represents an incredible addition to an already stacked card. The bout represents a clash befitting of his skillset, time in the sport and gravitas needed to ensure his exit from the sport is a worthy one.

Daley, the Nottingham, England native, who celebrated his birthday today is 3-1 in his last four appearances and is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Jason Jackson at Bellator 260 last June. Koreshkov, however. is currently riding a three-fight winning streak and will look to build off of a 38-second rib breaking TKO victory over Chance Rencountre at this past Saturday’s Bellator 274 event.

Alongside this bout, that has been described to me as being at 170 lbs, Bellator London is expected to feature a welterweight title fight between champion Yaroslav Amosov and the always spectacular Michael ā€˜Venomā€™ Page. A middleweight fight between Lyoto Machida and Fabian Edwards is also planned for the event.
