Could Larkin vs Daley II be on the cards for 22 June?

With MMA Fighting reporting that Lorenz Larkin has been forced off the Bellator 219 card, where he was due to face Andrey Koreshkov, this, on the face of it, is not as bad as it would initially seem.

Bellator are due to roll into London town on June 22 as part of their aggressive foray into the UK with their ‘European Series’. Coming off the back of a disappointing loss to Michael ‘Venom’ Page Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley will be keen to get back to winning ways and a rematch with the UFC vet, Lorenz Larkin, based on his previous victory is essentially the way in which to achieve this.

Bellator have yet to confirm a main event for its return to the UK’ capital but given both men’s previous conversations around making the fight happen in the past it would seem, allowing for Larkin’s speedy recovery, that a main event clash on UK soil this time would make sense.

We will of course be bringing you official confirmation of the main event slated for Bellator’s June 22 event as soon as it is officially announced.
