Former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman is certainly looking to get his name back in the mix of UFC Title contention and has already began to call out newly crowned Champion Michael Bisping.
Weidman, who had to pull out of the rematch with Luke Rockhold at #UFC199 due to neck injury has now healed up and is looking to return to the Octagon and challenge for the Middleweight Title which he held from July 2013 to December 2015.
Bisping was the man to seize Weidman’s opportunity and stepped in on only two weeks notice to shock the world and stop Luke Rockhold and become the first British UFC Champion from.
And it didn’t take long for Bisping to respond to Weidman’s callout and squashed the idea pretty quickly as you can see below;
@ChrisWeidmanUFC wants a title fight. Coming off a loss?. Win a fight. Maybe against rockhold first, Like originally planned.
