Top UK welterweight prospect, Justin Burlinson, has today been confirmed on the BAMMA35 card due to take place in Dublin next month. Set for 12th May at the 3 Arena, Burlinson will be making his 3rd appearance for BAMMA and his 4th professional fight in total. With two first round finishes to his name in his previous fights, 20-year old Burlinson will be looking to continue his progress within the promotion and further cement his growing reputation.
Fighting out of The Dungeon BJJ and MMA Academy in Sunderland, Burlinson is currently on an 18 fight win streak across his professional and amateur career. In fact, Burlinson only has one defeat to his name and that was a decision defeat to Adam Proctor back in 2014 on what was just his 2nd fight.
Next up for Burlinson is Konrad Iwanowski who fights out of Team Ryano MMA in Dublin. With a professional record of 5-2, Iwanowski last fought on the KSW40 card in Dublin at the back end of last year, a fight that ended in a unanimous decision defeat to Paul Lawrence. In Burlinson, Iwanowski will be up against a well rounded, level headed and extremely dangerous opponent. Despite his tender years, Burlinson certainly has the potential to go all the way in the sport, and another entertaining victory in Dublin next month will most certainly put Burlinson on a lot more radars.
Also added on the card is the featherweight clash between, Dylan Logan and Adam Gustab, Akonne Wanliss v Jeanderson Castro in the lightweight division and Patrick Blight v Dean Barry in the middleweight division.
