Current M-1 champion and former BAMMA champion Mansour Barnaoui (12-3, 4 KO, 7 Sub) will face one of the best up-and-coming lightweights in Europe Mateusz Gamrot (10-0, 4 KO, 2 Sub) for the vacant KSW lightweight title. The super exciting showdown takes place at KSW 35 on May 27th in Sopot/Gdańsk.
The 23-year-old Frenchman has been undefeated as a lightweight for the last three years, collecting impressive finished over UFC veterans Curt Warburton and Colin Fletcher as well as Russian standout Maxim Divnich. Eleven of his twelve professional victories came by way of knockout or submission.
Meanwhile, Gamrot has become one of the most feared lightweights on the European circuit, amassing the excellent 10-fight win streak, which includes victories over former UFC fighter Andre Winner, Polish veteran Łukasz Chlewicki, Brazilian striker Rodrigo Cavalheiro and most recently Russian prospect Marif Piraev. The 25-year-old from Ankos MMA Poznań has never lost a round in his MMA career.
