All fighters make weight for CW92: Super Saturday in London
Cage Warriors’ biggest event in recent years has been made official, with the entire card including all six championship fighters making their contracted weights.
Tomorrow night, Cage Warriors will stage 3 world titles across 2 main cards in 1 night at London’s sold out indigo at the O2 arena. The first main card will be topped by a title fight between light heavyweight king Karl Moore, who weighed in at 233.9 lbs, and heavyweight champion Mauro Cerilli who came in over ten pounds heavier at 247.7 lbs.
Before that, Sam Creasey (124.8 lbs) will face Nathan Greyson (124.9 lbs at his second attempt) for the vacant world flyweight title.
Lower on the first main card, hot prospects Jamie Richardson (168.8 lbs) and Sam Boult (170.6 lbs) clash to move up the welterweight rankings, and fan favourite Brad Wheeler (170.3 lbs) returns to the octagon to face Mehrdad Janzemini (169.2 lbs).
Headlining Main Card 2 is world bantamweight champion Nathaniel Wood, who tipped the scales at 134.4 lbs. Challenging for the title is one of Italy’s fastest rising stars, Luca Iovine (134.4 lbs).
Below them on the bill, Craig White (169.4 lbs) will face Alex Montagnani (169.6 lbs) for the chance to move one step closer to welterweight title contention. In the critics’ early pick for fight of the night, Welsh prospect Jack ‘Tank Shore (135.5 lbs) comes up against UFC veteran Vaughan Lee, who came in at 135.4 lbs. The first fight on Main Card 2 is a featherweight matchup between Corrin Eaton (145.8 lbs) and Dean Trueman (145.4 lbs).
A swing bout between Cameron Else (145.7 lbs) and Thomas Terdjman (144.1 lbs) will take place between CW92’s two main cards.
CW92: Super Saturday is SOLD OUT. There will be no tickets on the door – fans are advised not to travel to the Indigo at the O2 without a ticket.
