Fabian ‘The Assassin’ Edwards, after going on a tear, seemingly running through all comers that matchmakers would throw at him has put pen to paper and signed with Bellator.
The multi-fight deal, announced live during Bellator 208, which sources close to the fighter tell me is one of the most lucrative offered in recent signings, will see the 26 year old compete more frequently and against more challenging competition.
‘The Assassin’ joins a host of new signings that have swelled the european contingent of Bellator’s ranks. He’s hoping to have no shortage of opponents as he issues a spirited warning to a host of middleweight suitors.
On the signing Edwards said, “The Bellator Middleweight division is average and full of stiff guys with short gas tanks, here comes the game.”
Mike ‘Seabass’ Shipman, who famously KO’d Edwards’s teammate Yannick Bahati, has drawn his ire. In Fabian’s latest video offering he issues a menacing warning with a clear shot at ‘Seabass’
We will of course keep you up to date with the latest developments regarding an opponent when Edwards is eventually matched up.
