Northern Ireland’s Andy “Taz” Young (9-8 MMA) will be heading outside of the UK for his next bout, as he is set to fight for the WWFC (World Warriors Fighting Championship) promotion on 17th December in Kiev, Ukraine.
Young will take on undefeated Flyweight Alexander Barabash in a 125lbs Title bout. Barabash only started his career in early 2015 but has amassed four wins, with three stoppages coming in the first round.
Sources close to #WHOATV have confirmed that the bout has been agreed and contract signed (picture of Young signing it below) which will see Young compete outside of the UK for the second time in his career.
Young, who trains out of the Next Generation Gym in Northern Ireland lost out on a razor thin decision to BAMMA Flyweight Champion Rany Saadeh back at BAMMA 26. It is understood that BAMMA have granted Young a fight release which enables him to take this fight in Ukraine.
